Aluminium Composite Panels

High mechanical strength and toughness, light weight, extreme rigidity, low and high temperature resistance, super peel strength, excellent surface flatness and smoothness, high quality and good price.

If we look at aluminum composite panel’s history we see that it had been first developed in the 1960’s and used extensively by people and industrialists as it had a great deal of benefits. Aluminum composite panel or its other name Aluminum composite material (ACM) during the first few decades was largely manufactured throughout Europe but now is manufactured in the Far East. The article introduces the salient features of aluminum.

Composite panel:
Aluminum composite panel is essentially a structure or a panel which is lightweight and compact in features so that it can have a combination of both strength and durability. Its basic usage is related to interior and exterior applications.

Structure:
In essentiality aluminum composite panel is considered a flat panel which is composed of three layers that combine together to form an aluminum composite panel. The layers itself can be divided into two categories, firstly the internal layer which is actually the core of the entire structure is made up of Polyethylene and this core makes nearly the entire portion of the aluminum composite panel. The core basically acts as a bonding agent where the two other layers which are made from aluminum are attached. These two aluminum layers or sheets are light weight and during the manufacturing process they are bonded on to the polyethylene core. When these three layers form a single it is almost impossible to break the bond and separate them. Aluminum composite panels are a great way to offer something that is quite unique and can be used in diverse ways especially in architecture. Its features are such that they provide flexibility, formability, compactness and stability which make it a great product which can be used in forming complex elements when it comes to designing.

Thickness:
The thickness of aluminum composite sheets weighs according to what is your personal requirement and maybe the brands manufacturing preference. However when it comes to the thickness of a flat panel the feature doesn’t really make much of a difference in the application process. The standard thickness is divided into 0.2, 0.3 and 0.4mm. The reason why manufacturers divide it into certain groups of thickness is because of the fact that they try to save the manufacturing costs by using less aluminum as it is obviously an expensive material.

Weather Resistant:
The best part about Aluminum composite panel is that it is weather resistant, this feature is of course attributed to the aluminum sheets that are being used. Making the product weather resistant is a major reason why aluminum sheets are used in the product. Aluminum composite panels are normally used in external claddings of buildings and houses, for insulation due to aluminum being one of the best insulators and also for signage.
